Both bed bugs and fleas leave itchy welts on one’s body when they bite. These can be extremely unpleasant and unsightly. As the insect population grows, the incidence of bites will also increase.
Having bed bug or flea infestation will mean that your family and loved ones will be victimised nightly by these blood parasites, leaving them with irritated and inflamed skin. If you own a hotel, bed and breakfast or guest house, bed bugs and fleas infestations can seriously damage your reputation as a professional business. Left untreated, the infestation might result in bad reviews and loss of income.

Why are Bed Bugs and Fleas so Difficult to Eradicate?
This kind of small insect infestation is difficult to remove on your own, since eggs are very small and usually located deep within skirting boards and carpets. A simple vacuum of the space, simply won’t eliminate the infestation entirely.
Once hatched, the eggs will renew the insect population and the infestation will continue to grow. Leaving this infestation untreated for a long period of time, usually results in much higher expenses to exterminate these pests.

Bed Bug & Flea Control Methods

Heat Treatment
The fastest and most effective method to get rid of bed bugs and fleas is via targeted heat treatment. The reason heat treatment is so effective is that it kills bugs at any point during their lifecycle, whereas other methods, such as chemical treatments, target only a specific stage during the insect’s lifecycle. Heat treatments are able to kill bugs living throughout the property, by raising the temperature to a lethal degree. This method is also environmentally friendly.
